Stakeholder Engagement Forum - update

It was a heartfelt farewell to outgoing Chair of our Stakeholder Engagement Forum, Charlene Brooks, on Wednesday – as well as a warm welcome to the new Chair, Elaine Armstrong, who is Chief Executive of the Cedar Foundation. Charlene and Elaine (seated, l-r) are pictured below with our stakeholder forum members at the meeting.

The forum plays a key role in enabling the charity sector to engage directly with the Commission on the issues that matter most to them and the communities they serve. Deputy Chief Commissioner, Aoife Hamilton (who acts as the link between the Commission’s Board and the forum), commented: “"Charlene leaves behind a well-established and effective stakeholder forum, which she has led with distinction as its inaugural Chair. Her leadership - marked by strength, empathy, grace and good humour—has made a lasting and positive impact on charity regulation and the broader charity sector in Northern Ireland. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Charlene for her unwavering commitment and dedication to the forum, and we wish her every success in the future.”
