A small number of charities have been issued with an email from the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland indicating they are currently in default of their annual reporting requirements, when they are not.
The email was issued to around 60 charities on 25 February 2019 as a result of a system error.
If your charity received a default notification on 25 February 2019 and is not in default, please disregard the notification and rest assured that your charity’s status on the register has not been affected.
The Commission apologises for any inconvenience or confusion the notification may have caused. The issue has now been resolved.
