Annual reporting update: 2024-25
Between 1 April 2024 and 31 March 2025, charities in Northern Ireland submitted 5,555 sets of accounts and reports to the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland. These reports will include accounts for multiple years and early or later filers. The accounts submitted during this period showed a combined charitable income of £2.868 billion and total spending of £2.727 billion.
The Commission’s Monitoring & Compliance team carries out basic checks on a random sample of these accounts and reports. The infographic below gives a brief summary of what they found.
