Annual reporting update: 2024-25

Between 1 April 2024 and 31 March 2025, charities in Northern Ireland submitted 5,555 sets of accounts and reports to the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland. These filings showed a combined charitable income of £2.868 billion and total spending of £2.727 billion.

The Commission’s Monitoring & Compliance team carries out basic checks on a random sample of these accounts and reports. The infographic below gives a brief summary of what they found.
