Annual Public Meeting details announced
Joe Saxton, Driver of Ideas at nfpSynergy, will be the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland’s guest speaker at its Annual Public Meeting this autumn.
Taking place on 18 September, 2pm at Malone House, this will be the third time the Commission has held the event.
The meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to find out more about the role and work of the Commission, ask questions and share views on charity regulation, as well as meet Northern Ireland’s Charity Commissioners.
Joe has co-authored 70 reports on charities on subjects as wide-ranging as branding and trusteeship. He previously worked as Director of Communications for RNID before joining nfpSynergy, a research consultancy that focuses on the not-for-profit sector.
Joe’s keynote talk will focus on themes and trends in the charity sector and public attitudes towards charities. He will be followed with a presentation by the Commission’s staff on progress to date and an opportunity for questions.
The public meeting is open to all and anyone wishing to attend can sign up here. Places are on a first-come-first-served basis. In the event of the venue reaching full capacity then a reserve list will be opened.
