We achieve this by making the Bible accessible to people of every language, class, and creed. We encourage engagement with the Bible, which we believe brings significant social and spiritual benefits to individuals and communities both in Northern Ireland and globally. To further this mission, we engage in a variety of activities: 1. Translation
and Publication: We translate the Bible into various languages to ensure it is accessible to people from diverse linguistic backgrounds. We also publish these translations in different formats, such as print, digital, Braille and audio. 2. Distribution and Affordability: We work to distribute the Bible widely, ensuring it reaches people in remote and underserved areas. We strive to make the Bible affordable, often providing it at subsidized rates or even free of charge to those in need. 3. Educational Programs: We conduct and support educational programs and workshops to promote biblical literacy and understanding. These programs are designed to help individuals and communities engage with the Bible meaningfully and apply its teachings to their lives. We support projects that seek to educate and practically elevate poverty. 4. Partnerships and Collaboration: We cooperate with members of the United Bible Societies and other organizations to enhance our reach and effectiveness. These partnerships enable us to share resources, expertise, and best practices, ensuring that our efforts are impactful and sustainable. 5. Community Outreach: We engage in community outreach activities to foster a sense of belonging and support among individuals. These activities include Bible study groups, discussion forums, and community events that encourage people to explore and deepen their faith. 6. Support for Churches: We work closely with Christian churches to support their ministries and outreach efforts. By providing them with Bibles and related resources, we enable churches to better serve their congregations and communities.
