What are the direct benefits flowing from your organisation's purposes? - To provide a holistic welcome to all Newcomers, regardless or cultural, geographical, or religious backgrounds, in the name of the Christian Gospel in the island of Ireland. - To support Newcomers initial welcome and settlement to Ireland, through poverty-provision, aiding
integration, befriending and educating. - To provide educational support to Newcomers, namely the provision of English language lessons, conversational classes, and other educational settings. - To provide multi-agency signposting and improved links to resources and other support networks. - To equip and facilitate evangelical churches to engage in similar work, for Newcomers in their areas. - These objects of Acacia Path benefit both the receiver (Newcomer) through support and empowerment in their new lives in Ireland, and the support (AP worker/church partner) through develop cultural awareness, outreach, befriending and community development. The benefits from above can be demonstrated through the positive impact on Newcomers and supporters: How can the benefits identified above be demonstrated? Can be demonstrated through: - Numbers of Newcomers accessing English language lessons weekly. - Numbers of Newcomers being contacted weekly by volunteers, for integration support. - Numbers of volunteers engaging with programmes and befriending relationships. - Positive impact statements and stories of success shared with AP and partners, collated into impact reports. - Program outcomes e.g. Health programme at Fane Street, through use of questionnaires pre and post. Is there any harm arising from any of the purposes? No. Financial mismanagement, safeguarding concerns, harmful activities, lack of accountability and discrimination can all be avoided due to the scrutiny of trustees, proper governance, accountability and professionalism adhered to, in all aspects of AP’s work. AP’s purposes are non-discriminatory, non-prejudicial, open and accessible for all, regardless of culture or status, for those Newcomers seeking to access AP. Who are the charity's beneficiaries? AP’s beneficiaries include: - Newcomers in the island of Ireland who access programmes and supports and are helped through AP in a holistic way. - Volunteers and church partners who access training, facilitation and resources. Is there any private benefit flowing from any of the purposes? Volunteers may gain benefit in their professional development as they prepare and teach classes as well as building credibility and reputation.

With offices in Belfast and Portstewart, Acacia Path serves in various locations. We welcome newcomers wholeheartedly in the name of Jesus. We strive to treat all with dignity and respect as image-bearers of God, regardless of their background. We provide various support services to this end, including English classes, signposting to local
resources, and helping navigate a new culture. We do this in partnership with local churches, equipping them to embrace their new neighbours with the love of Christ.
