Public benefits

There will be greater financial support to registered charities to service more beneficiaries and also potentially provide a great scope of services if the charities choose to develop their services with the financial support. It is also possible that on any given visit to a charity we will bring specific provisions collected informally from

amongst supporters of the charity who are based in N Ireland. We also intend to come alongside staff of the charities as an extra sounding board if it asks for support in use of the financial support. Finally we would aim to generally support the morale of the staff by valuing their contributions and encouraging them in their roles. We believe this can also be itself a direct benefit. The charities will report annually on their activities and may report on any increase in the numbers of beneficiaries they will serve, or the scope of those services. As to develop relationships with charities they may be willing to develop more specific impact reports which may in itself, by comparing one impact report with a subsequent one, be a means of identifying the benefit provided by the financial support of the organisation. although this is not something we will impose (we will not restrict funding) but may develop naturally from the charity wishing to be accountable to the organisation. Similarly whilst the charities all have websites and operate social media, if this is developed it may encourage more up to date evidence of specific beneficiary support from week to week. We must stress we do not wish to burden the charities with extra requirements and we intend that all funding will be utilised on direct provision of services to beneficiaries of those charities. None that we are aware of save that there will be some environmental impact resulting from a need for occasional flights in order to be informed and build the relationships at the service provision end of some of the charities The charitable organisations mentioned above None

What your organisation does

The organisation carries out its purposes primarily by the identification of situations in developing nations, as well as in developed nations, where the provision of facilities and resources in furtherance of each of the above charitable purposes is lacking and responding to this by providing resources to enable such provisions and resources. We

are only working with those organisations already responding to the needs reflected by the charitable purposes outlined above. We will intend to operate 'on the ground' with the organisation where possible. For example: - we will carry out annual visits or on-line annual meetings where appropriate in order to verify the prudent expenditure of funds. - in February 2025 one of the trustees is scheduled to visit the Kenyan operations of a charity called Jengaga Association Ltd (Registered with CC for NI with number 107212). - Persons connected to the trustees are actively volunteering in a very established homeless charity in Belfast, N Ireland (LifehubNI). By securing long term financial support from the organisation it is expected that those individuals and organisations receiving support will develop an ongoing relationship with the trustees of the organisation and therefore also there will be a degree of personal accountability, over and above what is otherwise often achieved in donor/donee relationships. For example, the trustee have previously been supporting the organisations they intend to benefit, or similar organisations, thought a well known philanthropic umbrella giving organisation called Charities Aid Foundation. Whilst this has been successful, due to the CAF structure of giving there have been drawbacks in that there has been less opportunity to develop any meaningful relationships of accountability and encouragement with personnel in the organisations that CAF benefits
