Public benefits
* Place of Worship: * We envision a serene and welcoming mosque where Muslims can come together for daily prayers, Friday congregations, and special occasions. * Our imams and leaders will provide spiritual guidance, conduct educational programs, be able to give emotional support to those in need, and facilitate religious ceremonies. *
Community Center: * Beyond worship, our center will be a vibrant community hub, that is part of making Armagh a beautiful town as it is. * Families can gather for social events, share meals, and celebrate cultural festivals. * Children will benefit from educational programs, including Quranic studies and Arabic language classes. * We’ll organize youth activities, sports, and mentorship programs. * Outreach and Inclusivity: * Our commitment extends beyond the Muslim community. * We aim to build bridges with other faith groups, fostering understanding and promoting harmony. * By engaging in interfaith dialogues, cultural exchanges, and community service, we’ll contribute to the broader society. Having these benefits allow the existing Muslim community of Armagh a place of home and communal gathering. From allowing children to learn about their history to adults who are in need of help in religion. It gives everyone a sense of home and belonging, which is severely important being a minority as often time feeling like a stranger is prevalent. Join us in creating a space where faith, fellowship, and compassion thrive. Together, we’ll build a stronger, more connected Armagh. They can be demonstrated by all members of community coming together happily and carrying out these tasks on a consistent basis. This consistency can show that the goals of peace and a place of worship will be achieved and the benefits such as, finding a community, finding help, learning Arabic and educating the youth are met. We believe not, our existing community in armagh has gathered for Friday prayer for the last 12 years without a single incident. We are so pleased that the Armagh community is so welcoming to us and also we are grateful to have them as our friends. We have gathered for over a decade and our children have grown from small to adults when we first arrived and they have grown up in the beautiful Armagh community. There has never been an incident of us bringing harm to others or others bringing warm to us in these years. Even with the Belfast riots recently the Muslims in Armagh felt safe that our people stand with us in peace. This is proof to our peaceful conduct over the last 12-15 years, and granting us the ability to have a charity will allow us to grow into a more fruitful community. (Islamic version of our holy day is a Friday) The people who have advantage of our charity are those who are part of our community. They are part of this charity and we work together as a group and community to bring a place of worship. To our knowledge, we only aim to bring goodness to our Muslim community without intending private benefit. It is simply for those who want a place of worship and a community. We aim for a religious place of worship that helps everyone, no one member is greater than the other in religion. We are all equal.
