The organisation aims to provide those with disabilities access to fitness facilities for the improvement of their health. The direct benefits which flow from the purposes are the improvement of health for people with disabilities through the provision of access to fitness facilities that are tailored to their needs, as well as promoting social
inclusion. Beneficiaries of the charity will also be able to avail of physio and rehabilitation services to help manage their disabilities. The benefits can be demonstrated by the improvement of health and well being of the people that use the gym. This can be proven from feedback from the beneficiaries. In any fitness setting, there is a risk a beneficiary could hurt themselves while exercising. However,the gym equipment has been specially designed to support people with disabilities, so the risk for harm arising from sporting injuries is minimized. The gym will be adequately insured. People with disabilities and neurological conditions. If any of the trustees have a disability they may wish to be members of the gym, given that there is no other gym of this nature in Northern Ireland. This is an incidental and necessary benefit.

The organisation will provide a neuro exercise gym for people with neurological conditions such as Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), Stroke, Brain Injury, Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Cerebral Palsy (CP). Jenn’s Gym will offer specialised and adapted equipment for people to use either by themselves or with assistance from a family member/friend/carer or
physio. Exercise plays a crucial role in keeping us healthy and happy. Having a disability or using a wheelchair can make it more difficult to do cardiovascular physical activity. Manoeuvring or pushing a wheelchair can also put particular pressure on certain muscles in the upper body, making strains or other injuries more likely. Jenn’s Gym aims to cater to customers who cannot access a traditional gym due to a lack of specialized equipment or those who find it challenging to buy their own disability workout equipment due to space constraints or cost limitations. The gym offers a range of equipment, such as electrical stimulation bicycles, recumbent cross trainers, standing frames, plinths, and tilt tables.
