[What are the direct benefits flowing from your organisation’s purposes?] The main benefit is from the fact that out aim is to improve the mental, physical and social health of the mature male populous of Banbridge town. [How can the benefits identified above be demonstrated?] There will a reduction of suicides in our town and its countryside.

There will be a place where mature men can meet and talk to other men. This will increase the socialisation of a group of people who normally are expected to shut up and put up with what ever life throws at them. They will also be able to make things and fix things that will benefit other members of the Banbridge community. [Is there any harm arising from any of the purposes?] Should be none. [Who are the charity’s beneficiaries?] The mature men of the Banbridge area and their partners ( Who will get their house to themselves for a couple of days of the week) [Is there any private benefit flowing from any of the purposes? Is it incidental and necessary?] None

What your organisation does

We will be setting up in a good sized building and acquiring a number of good quality tools to make thing. There will be equipment like table saws, drills, routers, 3d printers and CNC equipment for the individuals to use. Also we will have people who can teach how to use the tools properly.

Charitable purposes

The (Group) is established to promote personal development, positive mental health and physical activities for the benefit of individuals from in and around Banbridge and it’s surrounding environment in County Down, to advance the health, well-being and education of its members by providing a safe and happy environment where its members can, in the company of others,  pursue hobbies, pastimes and interests,  learn new skills, practice and pass on old skills,  promote their own and other men’s health and well-being,  promote the mentoring of younger men.  Help out in the community.
