other parents in similar situations and circumstances We plan sessions on a weekly basis, which will focus on a specific fundamental movement skill. If a volunteer witnesses a child not engaging we can tailor the activity to suit the childs needs so that everyone is getting something out of the session. We also give parents a chance to speak to eachother and be able to reason and relate to other parents. No, but we havw carried out a risk assessment for the hall and any possible risks. To date we have had no incidents. Parents The Children with additional needs who attend the club. Everything we carry out is planned and always has a purpose, session plans are rotated ona weekly basis.

What your organisation does

We set up sessions weekly which will have a specific target in the athlete's fundamental movement skills. These sessions are structured in a way which allows athletes to settle in before the main activity and gives time to cool down before finishing. Each session is backed up by a session plan which has been agreed by all volunteers.

Charitable purposes

5.1 The Club is established for the benefit of persons with an intellectual disability (hereinafter called “the beneficiaries”) and in particular to: a. provide or assist in the provision of sports training for the beneficiaries; b. provide opportunities for the beneficiaries to participate in Special Olympics competition at local, regional, national and international level; c. assist the beneficiaries by the provision of social and leisure opportunities and by helping to increase public awareness of the needs and capabilities of the beneficiaries with the object of improving their conditions of life.
