What your organisation does

S Clarke and Son Memorial Reserve Trust is dedicated to fostering environmental conservation and enhancing the wellbeing of the community in Northern Ireland and beyond, for the public benefit. Our objectives are centred around three core areas: 1. Environmental Protection and Enhancement: We are committed to the conservation and enrichment of

natural biodiversity. Through the acquisition, creation, and diligent management of one or more nature reserves, we aim to provide a sanctuary for wildlife, facilitating biodiversity recovery and environmental preservation. This commitment not only protects and sustains natural habitats but also ensures that future generations inherit a healthier planet. 2. Advancement of Health and Wellbeing: Recognising the intrinsic link between nature and wellbeing, our charity offers public access to at least one of these nature reserves. This initiative is designed to benefit the general public and specifically bereaved families, providing a serene environment for reflection, remembrance, and connection with nature. By integrating features such as permanent memorials with engraved tributes, we offer a unique way for individuals to honour their loved ones. These spaces serve as catalysts for healing and comfort, aiding in the bereavement process and promoting mental and physical health. 3. Adaptability to Emerging Charitable Needs: In addition to our primary objectives, we remain open to evolving our focus to address new charitable purposes as identified by our Trustees. This flexibility ensures our sustained relevance and ability to respond to the changing needs of our community.
