Phoenix Education Group Ltd provides direct benefit to the local community by providing programs and activities aimed at addressing the issues of educational underachievement, and social, economic, environmental and health issues that affect the area. These benefits can be can be evidenced via by the findings of surveys and evaluations of the

activities including those by service users. There is no harm that arises from our purposes. The beneficiaries are the local community members of East Belfast but Phoenix Education Group Ltd has a wider public benefit to the community of Northern Ireland by providing support, assistance and other benefits to the area of East Belfast. There is no private benefit flows from our purposes.

What your organisation does

Phoenix Education Group Ltd will apply for funding through grant making organizations and work to ensure sustainability of programs by developing multiple revenue streams. We will offer accredited learning through OCN(NI) and similar accredited training providers as well as local FE and HE institutions. We will also offer nonaccredited training

based on the needs of the learners and community and work to co-design projects with learners.

Charitable purposes

The charity's objects ('Objects') are specifically restrictede to the following: To advance education, foster equality and diversity, and encourage social inclusion and community cohesion among the residents of Belfast and its surrounding areas. This shall be achieved through: Providing accredited and non-accredited learning and training programs designed to enhance the employability of local community members, thereby enhancing their overall quality of life. Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to promote restorative justice practices, with the goal of coordinating strategic local initiatives aimed at addressing health and social disparities within the designated area of benefit. Facilitating access to alternative government services and community/voluntary organisations, as deemed appropriate.
