Public benefits

The direct benefits include offering financial support to the underprivileged, aiding vulnerable Peruvian communities in sustaining daily operations, providing essential resources, and empowering individuals who have faced adversity. These efforts ensure that impoverished individuals in Peru receive critical items addressing their immediate needs,

thereby enhancing their overall well-being and prospects. Additionally, extending general support to those facing exceptional challenges can alleviate suffering. These benefits of raising funds can be demonstrated through feedback from the beneficiaries, proof of financial contributions, and actively participating in the betterment of their living conditions.Furthermore, the benefits can be demonstrated through the timely and targeted distribution of vital resources such as food, clothing, sanitary products, and medical aid, leading to tangible improvements in the lives of the beneficiaries. Long term benefits can be demonstrated through measurable enhancements in living conditions, healthcare, and psychosocial support, ultimately leading to improved prospects for the beneficiaries. There is no harm arising from the purposes - the purposes exclusively intend to create positive change, aiming solely to improve the living conditions and welfare of the beneficiaries. The charity's beneficiaries are as follows: Our charity primarily aims to support vulnerable populations in Peru, including orphanages, women's shelters, and the elderly. Our key beneficiaries are: Orphanages: We assist children's homes to improve living conditions and opportunities for children. Women's Shelters: Particularly, adolescent mothers who are removed from their homes by the government for their own safety and placed in these shelters. The Elderly: We're dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for the homeless elderly population in Peru. General Support: While our primary focus is on orphanages, women's shelters, and the elderly, we also extend our assistance to any individuals in Peru who are in dire need of help. Our aim is to offer relief to those facing exceptional challenges and hardships, irrespective of their age, gender, or background. Our purposes do not provide any private benefit; rather, they solely aim to address the critical needs of the beneficiaries. Any private benefit is incidental to the payment of suppliers by the charity for any necessary supplies or items for the beneficiaries, or as costs incurred by trustees in carrying out tasks to fulfil the purposes of the charity, but these are incidental to carrying out the charity’s purposes. Additionally, trustees may gain valuable skills and experience through their involvement in the charity. Again, these benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries.

What your organisation does

Our organisation, operating from NI, has a distinctive approach to fulfilling its purpose. We initiate fundraising activities in NI and then embark on missions to Peru, where we carry out hands-on support to orphanages, women's shelters, and the elderly. We have undertaken various essential projects, including constructing a toilet in a home for

terminally ill children and procuring a oxygen tank and mask for the Amor de Dios children's home, both of which significantly enhanced the living conditions of the beneficiaries. We've also obtained funding for a dedicated social worker for one year, who has been tasked with creating government-mandated reports for each child in the homes, ensuring compliance and welfare. Additionally, we've made a life-changing impact by covering the expenses of an eye operation for a child facing vision loss from Keratoconus. As part of our standard efforts, we consistently provide food, care packages, and healthcare essentials to improve the well-being of those we support. Our frequent visits to Peru enable direct engagement with home leaders, helping us understand their immediate needs and guaranteeing that the necessary physical goods reach the girls, children, and elderly in these institutions.
