Public benefits
The direct benefits which flow from purpose are well known. After playing, moving and being physically active students are better able to focus. This enables them to engage more readily with others, especially in the classroom. It provides opportunities for children to engage with others outside of their normal groupings thus learning to leave
their comfort zones and interact with others different abilities, interests and personalities. They have an opportunity to learn and develop new skills and share opportunities to shine. Those children who feel excluded feel included as games and skills are adapted to their individual level. Children learn that all children, regardless of ability matter and can be included. Children develop confidence, acquire new skills or build on existing skills. Children see they benefit of striving to achieve and how that skill can be transferred across all the life not just in sport. By making the connection between practice and improving children learn that skills can be improved which spurs motivation and purpose. These benefits are demonstrated by survey data gathered through surveys with the children, teachers and parents who have previously engaged with the Foundation. [Is there any harm arising from any of the purposes?] No The Foundations beneficiaries are the children, parents and teachers who engage with the programme. There are no private benefits from any of the purposes
