Armagh Amateur Boxing Club was set up to advance Amateur boxing within the Armagh City Area. The main benefit of the club is to educate children and young adults in the skills required for boxing, this in turn will improve their physical/Mental health and wellbeing. We carry out our purpose by providing a minimum of 3 training sessions per week to
our members. We advance our boxers in the skills they require and when we see fit for them to progress on to competitions. We take our boxers across Ireland for sparring and competitions building links and connections. Our club is a safe space for children and young people, who are welcomed in and not discriminated against. They are also all aware of the safeguarding officers who can provide additional support for the boxers. At each training session we have male and female coaches there for anyone to approach.
