Public benefits
The direct benefits which flow from our purpose is to help relieve the stress and anxiety of financial worries when a child has been newly diagnosed with cancer. To help families and children achieve a sense of normality by providing mobility equipment in the interim while waiting for an assessment for specialist equipment. The benefits will be
demonstrated through feedback from our beneficiaries and correspondence from other charities and organisations we have supported, it will also be demonstrated through additional families contacting the charity for support. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes. The charity's beneficiaries are families who have a child with a cancer diagnosis in Northern Ireland. Established charities who provide a service and support children living with cancer in Northern Ireland. There is no private benefit from any of the purposes.

Through fundraising efforts and donations, The Big C Foundation will help to alleviate the financial pressures of families who have a child with a new cancer diagnosis. The Big C Foundation will use their fundraising efforts and donations to purchase mobility or sensory equipment which can be lent to children receiving cancer treatment while
waiting on an OT assessment for equipment. The Big C Foundation will so support other established charities who support children with a cancer diagnosis.
