What are the direct benefits flowing from your organisation's purposes? Educational benefits, social benefits, well being benefits. How can the benefits identified above be demonstrated? Children and adults learn and enhance their Irish language skills through child and parent sessions involving art, games, sports, music. Adults improve their

linguistic capability through the conversation circle each week and listening to songs and music at the weekly music session as well as their social and mental well being. Care of animals is learned through handling and feeding chicks, hens and ducks. Agricultural classes and bee keeping will be started using our grow tunnels and bee hives. Volunteers maintain the grounds. Is there any harm arising from any of the purposes? None. Who are the charity's beneficiaries? Children, adults with a knowledge of, interest in or desire to improve their spoken Irish. Is there any private benefit flowing from any of the purposes? Is it incidental and necessary? The benefits to be obtained are widespread-social, physical and mental well being through mixing with others while pursuing healthy interests in music, language, exercise, agriculture with the Irish language at the forefront.

What your organisation does

We host social events pertaining to Gaelic cultural heritage, namely Irish music sessions, Irish language conversation circles, parent and child mornings, Christmas events for Irish speaking families. We maintain the building and grounds at which these events take place.

Charitable purposes

(i) To develop the the former site of Meánscoil Dhoire as a Gaeláras (A Gaeláras is a centre of Language and Culture) (ii) To use that Gaeláras to provide social and educational events through the medium of Irish. (iii) To develop the Gaeláras as a resource centre with the aim of cultivating interest in Gaelic culture.
