Public benefits
The benefits flowing from the purpose include an advancement of understanding of the Christian faith and provision of pastoral care in addition to the support structure and fellowship offered through the church community for all people who choose to attend services or events. Further benefit is the availability of the Church buildings which enable
the church to effectively carry out its core functions for the benefit of congregants and people in the neighbourhood and further afield. These benefits can be demonstrated through the growth in faith, knowledge of Christian doctrine, and offering of personal support, and developing Christian service among and to people attending the Church worship services and activities; benefit is also achieved through the use of the Church building for activities carried out to benefit the local community outside the church community . There is no harm flowing from this purpose and nobody gains a private benefit. The intended beneficiaries of this purpose are all people who choose to attend Church services or activities. In particular those people who live in the local area and the greater Shankill area, and more generally anyone who lives outside the locality and who chooses to attend. There is no private benefit flowing from these purposes.
