Public benefits

The benefits flowing from our purpose is that we will provide opportunities for all tenants at Rathain Fold to engage by creating and encouraging a sense of community within Rathain Fold leading to regular events and social activities for over 55’s living independently within Rathain Fold and surrounding area of Causeway Coast and Glens Northern

Ireland. The benefits which flow from this purpose include reducing social isolation and loneliness suffered by many who have been impacted since the pandemic and struggled to socialise since the restrictions ended. We will provide regular events and activities for everyone to attend within Rathain Fold Common Room encouraging everyone to attend, they won’t have to leave the building ensuring they are attending an event in a familiar environment, not having to travel making it easier to leave their apartment and socialise at the event. We also live close to a number of other Folds within the Causeway area Portrush, Portstewart and Bushmills and invite and welcome tenants living within these Radius Communities to our events. Having regular social events will help improve Mental Health and Wellbeing by having regular calendars events to look forward to and socialising with likeminded individuals their own age group. Rathain Fold Tenants Association will identify the benefits by carrying out regular post evaluation surveys after events/activities to receive feedback on the events/activities on how we can improve the events, at meetings we will add onto the agenda of Meetings Events Feedback. This will demonstrate any learnings to ensure we continue to hold events/activities that people want to attend. The Tenants Association will record the numbers of attendees at events and recognise if the number of attendees is small then people aren’t interested in this type of event and change the events depending on the needs, wants and requests from the beneficiaries. NONE - All tenants living within Rathain Fold are beneficiaries NONE
