What are the direct benefits flowing from your organisation's purposes? The public benefits that flow from the purpose of rural regeneration are: 1. The creation of employment opportunities, training and work experience opportunities for residents living in the local rural area, leading to a better quality of life for the beneficiaries. 2. the
support in the creation of new start up businesses leading to employment opportunities and wealth creation for the local economy. 3. Link with other business and education setting to promote local enterprise. How can the benefits identified above be demonstrated? The benefits can be identified are support with reports to the Board on the occupancy levels within the enterprise space, to include new start up businesses & business growth. Is there any harm arising from any of the purposes? No harm arises from these purposes. Who are the charity's beneficiaries? Ethnic minorities, general public in the Eglish and and surrounding area, Male and female entrepreneurs, Tenants, Unemployed and underemployed, Voluntary and community sector, Young people (12-25 year old's). Is there any private benefit flowing from any of the purposes? Is it incidental and necessary? Some private benefit is obtained by the owners of small businesses who rent units on favourable terms to help get them established, but this is ancillary to the main purpose and is greatly outweighed by the gains in public benefit.

Oona Valley Community Association exists to promote the advancement of economic and community development, the promotion for the public benefit of rural regeneration in the Eglish and surrounding areas. We do this by providing the following range of services; • The provision of a range of business units to let and meeting facilities on favorable
terms • sign post to various enterprise support programmes and initiatives including pre-start programmes, start-up programmes and business development programmes for established businesses in the local area Project and property management services and advice and support to community and voluntary organisations throughout the local area.
