Public benefits
The benefit which flows from this purpose is improved physical and mental health and wellbeing; reduced stress, improved family and work life and improved quality of life of people who have been affected directly or indirectly by peri-menopause or menopause in NI. By ensuring better access to information, services, and support our services will
enable them to cope more positively with their symptoms and impact on their everyday lives. The services offered will ensure that beneficiaries are better supported and more empowered to manage the impact of peri-menopause and menopause on their lives. The benefit which flows from this purpose is that anyone, in NI, dealing with peri-menopause or menopause, either personally or professionally, has access to evidenced-based, up to date information about the symptoms, treatment and management of peri-menopause and menopause and their effect and impacts. This will be demonstrated through regular contact, feedback and surveys with relevant stakeholders, including people affected by peri-menopause and menopause. It will be demonstrated through the use of formal evaluation forms, and informal feedback from service users. It will be demonstrated through active collaboration and partnership working with other organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors. There is no harm flowing from this purpose The beneficiaries of this purpose are people affected by peri-menopause or menopause, directly or indirectly, in Northern Ireland. Charity Trustees are likely to have personal experience of peri-menopause or menopause and hence gain benefit in the same way as all other beneficiaries. This benefit is incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to all beneficiaries.
