Public benefits

Whilst a public benefit statement has been provided the Commission has relied on other evidence to satisfy itself that the public benefit requirement has been met. Public Benefit Statement: as we are a new organisation, we are still in the process of setting up and as such haven't had a chance to organise many events or projects. We hope to help

those in need in our community by liaising with our local foodbank and clothing charities to donate out to people where possible. We will be organising events and training courses that will help financially and psychologically to cope with the cost of living see above no the inhabitants of the town of Moira No

What your organisation does

we are a fairly new organisation only set up in March 2022 so haven't had the chance to do much yet, but we try to assist residents with any issues they have, find out and explore what residents want or need in the area, and promote local businesses and events in the community through our social media. We aim to expand our programme in 2023 with

2. OBJECTS The Association is established to: 2.1 relieve poverty, sickness and the aged and to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the town of Moira and its environs (hereinafter described as “the area of benefit”) without distinction of age, gender, race, political, religious or other opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants; 2.2 to manage and develop a Community Centre (hereinafter called “the Centre”) and to maintain and manage or to co-operate with any local statutory authority in the maintenance and management of a such a Centre for activities promoted by the Association and its constituent bodies in furtherance of the above objects.
