The direct benefit which flows from this purpose includes the advancement of education by promoting understanding, accessibility and enjoyment of members of the public generally in relation to the history of the Police by the establishment of a Museum which collects, loans and preserves articles associated with Police history, carrying out research
into the history of policing in Ireland, recording and gathering information and artefacts. Benefits are identified through feedback from members of the public who visit the Museum and serving and retired police officers who contribute to the Museum. This purpose does not give rise to any harm. The beneficiaries of this purpose are people living in Northern Ireland and international visitors to Northern Ireland. No.
