What your organisation does

The organisation manages its own theatre facility in Belfast, and mounts productions of plays, poetry and prose. It also takes these productions to other locations in Northern Ireland, availing of other theatre spaces. It involves individual volunteers in participating in plays, either on-stage, or back stage as technical sound, light and stage

management crew, or front of house engaging with audience members. It provides productions available to the public, and geared toward works which are either classical (we have produced Merchant of Venice and Othello by Willian Shakespeare) or locally focussed on Northern Ireland (we have just completed One Saturday Before The War about a football team from Belfast). This encourages previously non-theatre going public to come to our facility.
