It will provide another reason for the visitor to do more than admire the Hall from outside but to walk in and explore the Hall’s rich history. Rory Gallagher`s enduring legacy will provide a long-term international audience – a largely under-developed market of music fans - and this will provide Belfast and The Ulster Hall with a sustainable, targetable market that will deliver long-term economic, cultural, artistic and social benefits to the city. . The benefits to the general public will be the ability to revisit Rory’s Belfast through the photographic exhibition, film and media application within The Ulster Hall, to re examine the cultural significance of Rory’s musical interaction within Northern Ireland’s society to provide insight into the greater music environment at the time, to provide impetus to the entertainment industry, to provide a boost to entertainment tourism. provide a key anchor point for the new development area known as The Linen Quarter, an interactive regenerated urban space at the statue facilitates historical, educational, culture and tourism to the greater public social benefit. This new social space will from a corner stone of The Linen Quarter Charities regeneration The Linen Quarter Charity will benefit from the projects unique appeal to develop a new urban social meeting point for the general public, marketing and tourism potential to sell the area to the greater public and a key stone for the economic regeneration of the area with future festival, workshops, educational and cultural activities. The Rory Gallagher Ulster Hall Statue App Tourism Music tourism vast potential for Belfast to benefit through the Rory Gallagher statue. Rory is known worldwide: legacy documentaries with the BBC and RTE. Both will highlight Rory’s Belfast story, and will feature the statue. Marketing with the Rory Gallagher Estate, Belfast City Council, The Linen Quarter Charity, Fender UK, Universal, Eagle Rock, and Tourism UK and Tourism Ireland, and others. Heritage, Culture, Legacy, Future Rory Gallagher’s Belfast legacy is hugely significant and provides a benchmark for cultural, artistic and social development. The outworking of the project will benefit all communities through cross community interaction. It will inspire and show the opportunities possible within the creative industry through teaching and interactive workshops. What your organisation does

The Charity Trust will be responsible for the development, installation, marketing and administration of the Rory Gallagher Statue Project in its entirety at The Ulster Hall, Bedford St, Belfast. The Charity Trust’s activities include working with the management team at The Ulster Hall, Belfast City Council, The Linen Quarter Charity and various

other private and government bodies to achieve the erection of the Rory Gallagher statue, the installation of the permanent Rory Gallagher exhibition within The Ulster Hall, Belfast’s Rory Gallagher legacy story, The Rory Gallagher Belfast social media application, the urban space regeneration area at the statue installation. The Charity Trust will be responsible for the ongoing and future development plans associated with the Rory Gallagher Statue. The Charity Trust will be responsible for the historical, cultural and social legacy that associates with The Rory Gallagher Statue and all future developments to ensure benefit to the greater public and that the general public and the Rory Gallagher legacy is not harmed.

(b) To oversee and promote the historical, cultural and social cohesiveness legacy of Rory Gallagher’s beneficial impact on the general public through his concerts, music and iconic musician status with first his Belfast based band Taste and then The Rory Gallagher Band through performances at multiple venues in Northern Ireland especially The Ulster Hall, Belfast..
