Clonduff Development Enterprise (COI) Ltd

Registered

Charity no. 109312 Date registered. 24/04/2023

Public benefits

The direct benefits include enabling people to become engaged in activities in their local community, reducing social isolation, advancing education and training, and accessing opportunities to improve positive health & wellbeing. Our rural population will have access to an Arts, Cultural & Heritage facility within their own local area, and will

benefit from access to and participation in diverse Arts, Cultural & Heritage events and experiences. Benefits will be demonstrated through the number of people engaging in activities we organise, the number of people using our facilities, and any feedback which they give us. The purposes of our charity will not lead to any harm. The charity’s beneficiaries are people living in Hilltown and the surrounding areas. Trustees receive a private benefit as beneficiaries, as they can use the facilities and engage in the activities, but do not get priority over anyone else. They also receive a private benefit of training in committee skills, and other training relevant to the role of trustee with Clonduff Development Enterprise. These private benefits are necessary to achieve the purposes and are therefore incidental.

What your organisation does

We advance community development and citizenship by providing facilities for the community and organising events: including community and family events, training & workshops, and health & wellbeing events. We will renovate, restore and manage the building formerly known as St John’s Church in Hilltown. We will run the building as an Arts, Heritage

and Cultural Centre, presenting 3 or 4 diverse events per calendar month, and facilitating community access to and engagement in arts, heritage and culture.
