The direct benefits flowing from organisations purposes are: The recovery from mental ill health with a decrease in anxiety, depression and stress and an enhanced feeling of wellbeing of those using our services. An increased awareness among the community of mental health and what can be done to improve your mental and physical wellbeing. The

provision of a successful and effective Centre which is used to provide services for those in community experiencing mental ill health, physical illness, addiction, loneliness and isolation. Increased self-confidence, self-esteem and self-belief for those members of the community who avail of our services The benefits from Are demonstrated through participants recovery from the debilitating symptoms mental ill health and stress in their lives and the increased positive and effective participation in the community. An increased understanding of mental illness and the provision of tools to help manage the symtoms to enable participants to lead more positive and happier lives. Are demonstrated by the large number of participants attending the Centre and benefiting from our services. What your organisation does

Portadown Wellness Centre provides sessions of Professional Counselling, Psychotherapy, Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, Young People Professional Counselling and Reflexology along with providing practical, therapeutic activities including enjoyable classes in Pottery & Ceramics, Woodwork, Woodcarving, Arts & Crafts, Sewing & Interior Design,

Cookery, Baking, Gardening & Horticulture, Yoga and Pilates. All of our facilitators are professional, experienced, caring and encouraging. All of our therapists are fully qualified and professional.

Charitable purposes

The objects of charity are to preserve and protect health and wellbeing and provide support and empowerment to men and women in Portadown and the surrounding region who are affected by mental illness, addiction, physical illness, loneliness or isolation, in particular by, but not limited to, the provision of (a) Professional counselling delivered by fully qualified, experienced counsellors: and (b) Therapeutic activities such as woodwork, woodcarving, arts & crafts, education & wellbeing, cookery, baking, pottery & ceramics, sewing & interior design, gardening & horticulture, yoga, pilates and physical exercise
