What are the direct benefits flowing from your organisation's purposes? The benefits of these purposes are: a) The provision of a sacred space for worship services within the local community where people can gather to celebrate Christian festivals and hold funerals b) Contributing towards a better society by promoting strong moral values and
social cohesion c) Contributing to members', and followers' mental and physical wellbeing, aiding the prevention of ill-health, speeding recovery and fostering composure in the face of ill-health d) Providing comfort to the bereaved How can the benefits identified above be demonstrated? The benefits are all public benefits as Bethel Temple is open to all who wish to come and worship and learn about the Christian Faith. The church and it's members wish to engage with all members of the public, sharing their faith, and in so doing, share their strong moral values and care for their fellow man with their neighbours and strangers. The social cohesion and strong moral values taught by the Christian Faith can only have a positive impact on the local community, fostering a sense of identity and purpose that is rooted in love for Jesus, transcending any political or social senses of identity. Is there any harm arising from any of the purposes? No. Who are the charity's beneficiaries? General public. Is there any private benefit flowing from any of the purposes? Is it incidental and necessary? The Pastor receives a weekly wage which is necessary in the futherance of the charity's purposes.

Bethel Temple will pursue these purposes by mainly, but not exclusively, various means including; 1) Broadcasting Christian messages of an evangelistic and teaching nature through sermons and religious seminars, talks, meetings and conferences 2) Through providing a place of worship for all who wish to attend 3) Through the holding of prayer
meetings, the public celebration of religious festivals and producing and/ or distributing literature on the Christian faith to enlighten others about the Christian religion 4) Through the church leadership, visiting the sick and elderly 5) Conducting funeral services for members of the local community 6) Promoting the study of Christian religious teachings, practices and Scripture 7) Providing religious instruction and supervision 8) Administering the sacraments to the sick and dying 9) Promoting prayer, praise and study
