Anyone engaged with NCNI can learn about the culture and be educated about the festivals and events celebrated in different part of the world. It also acts as a mediator in maintaining traditional and cultural correspondence among the different organisation in Northern Ireland. It also carries out various activities to observe as well as

preserving Nepalese culture and addressing the cultural diversity.NCNI emphasises health and wellbeing therefore a general member and the whole community can get health related messages and take part in events organised by NCNI. NCNI always played a very vital role to promote our youths in every aspect of the social. physical and mental wellbeing through various sports activities i.e., football, health walk and girls in sports. Also NCNI provides general health and wellbeing related idea among everyone so that everyone can be benefited of this organisation. NCNI organises interactions and gatherings which can benefit everyone i.e. small group of children to a large audience. We organise charitable events which can be beneficial to local charity or anyone from around the world. Each task and benefits are carefully selected by the board and the fund required is calculated responsibly which then discussed and advertised among everyone so that the benefit of each project are expected to be at its highest. The board set out the action plan which then carefully followed by everyone involved with the projects. There is no harm The beneficiaries are the general public, community member There is no private benefit

The NCNI carries out its duties and services by decision made by the board and trusties. It has a constitution and the board members choses by the general meeting. All the decision is made at the regular meetings held on every months and special meetings. We coordinate with various professionals in our community to discuss and work in the agendas

set by the chairperson.

Charitable purposes

To promote social inclusion and relieve the needs of the members of the Nepalese community living in Northern Ireland (‘the beneficiaries’) and assist them to integrate into society in Northern Ireland by providing English language classes, advice, support, and advocacy and by any other charitable means as the Trustees shall consider appropriate; To preserve and promote Nepalese culture by the provision of Nepalese language classes, the organisation and celebration of Nepalese festivals and other cultural events and traditions and encourage appreciation by the general public in Northern Ireland in all matters relating to Nepalese culture in an effort to promote diversity and racial harmony; For the relief and assistance of people in Nepal who are suffering hardship as a result of natural disaster or who by reason of their social and economic conditions are in need of assistance through the provision of financial assistance, advocacy and by any other charitable means as the Trustees shall consider appropriate; To relieve the financial distress or hardship of Nepalese bereaved families resident in Northern Ireland who are repatriating the body of a loved one back to Nepal under such rules as may be laid down by the Trustees for the granting of financial help.
