To promote community integration for the benefit of the youth, the aged and the inhabitants of Bellaghy and its environs of County Londonderry. To increase a variety of facilities for those people who live in the Bellaghy Area and to increase development and awareness of community life. The provision of a cross community, accessible, Community
Centre where everyone in the local community feels welcome and which brings local residents together, a meeting place to get together with others to enjoy social interaction and to take part in activities of a social and recreational nature. Benefit flows from enjoyment and learning gained from social, community and educational activities. These benefits are evidenced through feedback from the local community. There is a high attendance from the people who live in the area to different events. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes. [Who are the charity's beneficiaries?] There is direct benefit to the inhabitants of Bellaghy through being educated and learning new skills in dance, art, music, sport and physical activity within their own community. People who have done participated in classes are singing their praises on how they have been motivated to live a healthy life with a positive mindset, connecting with people, being active, learning something new, taking notice of their neighbours and locality and giving their time or resources to help others. The direct benefits flowing from the organisations purposes are providing a facility in which the participants can use thus increasing the skills of the participants, increased activity and improving the physical & mental health and wellbeing of the participants. We have opened up our community hall, to various activities during the week to make all feel welcome. Sunday - Cafe open in the morning. Music & Movement class for children with additional need. Meditation class in the evening. Monday - Morning Light chair exercise & cuppa. Evening - sewing, pilates & bingo Tuesday - Aerobics and art
classes Wednesday- Gardening, Badminton, Drama & Performance, Whist cards. Thursday - Dog training and Yoga classes Friday - Irish Dancing Saturday - Monthly Farmers Market.
