The direct benefits include reducing social isolation for those most vulnerable within the area, improved health and wellbeing, and enhancing the local environment. Futhermore the direct benefits from this purpose include promotion of programmes, events and services available for local people as information will be accessible through our social
media and other sources. The benefits can be demonstrated by the delivery and participation of the programmes and events within the community. Additionally by providing a safe space where local residents are welcomed and listened to. The community premises was established as a hub for the community, encouraging local people to engage in the programmes that we facilitate. We will also provide volunteers with opportunities to engage with the community and learn new skills. Additionally the youth activities provided by Balnamore Community Association will also help to reduce anti social behaviour in the area. Moreover the provision of youth programmes offers young people a positive focus providing opportunities for the young people to develop their skills . We also complete evaluation forms for all of the programmes that we deliver and keep records of all programmes. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes. The beneficiaries are residents of Balnamore and Surrounding areas. Our volunteers can avail of training available which will enable them to organise, plan and deliver programmes within our community. The benefits would be that the volunteers will receive certificates which may help them in their own personal development. This is an incidental benefit.
