People will be educated in the Irish language to promote public knowledge and understanding of Irish language and traditional culture and arts. This will benefit: 1. Advancement of Education and the public benefit flowing from this are Irish language, music, dance, drama and
craft classes ranging from informal conversational to qualification based classes. 2.Advancement of the Arts, Culture, Heritage or Science. Public benefit flowing from this charitable purpose is public access to cultural activities eg music, dance, drama, art/craft - as active participants (classes/performance) and as audience of performances or exhibitions. 3. Advancement of citizenship and community development through opportunities or people to come together and share common interests and promote understanding and reconciliation. How can the benefits identified above be demonstrated? Success of similar projects elsewhere in the Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough such as in Crumlin and Glengormley. Is there any harm arising from any of the purposes? No. Who are the charity's beneficiaries? Citizens of Antrim/Randalstown and surrounding communities.
