People will be educated in the Irish language to promote public knowledge and understanding of Irish language and traditional culture and arts. This will benefit: 1. Advancement of Education and the public benefit flowing from this are Irish language, music, dance, drama and

craft classes ranging from informal conversational to qualification based classes. 2.Advancement of the Arts, Culture, Heritage or Science. Public benefit flowing from this charitable purpose is public access to cultural activities eg music, dance, drama, art/craft - as active participants (classes/performance) and as audience of performances or exhibitions. 3. Advancement of citizenship and community development through opportunities or people to come together and share common interests and promote understanding and reconciliation. How can the benefits identified above be demonstrated? Success of similar projects elsewhere in the Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough such as in Crumlin and Glengormley. Is there any harm arising from any of the purposes? No. Who are the charity's beneficiaries? Citizens of Antrim/Randalstown and surrounding communities. Is there any private benefit flowing from any of the purposes? Is it incidental and necessary? No private benefit

The charity’s objects (‘Objects’) are specifically restricted to the following: The objects of the Company are to carry on activities which benefit the community in Northern Ireland and in particular (without limitation): To provide educational and cultural activities, advance education and vocational skills, promote good community relations and contribute to community life in the Antrim area through the development of sustainable projects. To promote such other charitable purposes as may from time to time be determined. For the avoidance of doubt, the system of law governing the articles of association of the charity is the law of Northern Ireland.
