The Direct benefits which flow from the purpose is to provide facilities and activities in the interests of social welfare, health, recreation and leisure, with the objective of improving conditions of life for the inhabitants. breaking down isolation and enhancing community life in the Broomhill & Drumnahuncheon area in a way that are exclusively

charitable as we are not a profit organization. These benefits are evidenced by obtaining feedback for our services through event evaluations, social media and those who attend our meetings. independent evaluation of our services by funders for any funding we receive. There is no harm anticipated from these purposes. everyone in the community of Broomhill & Drumnahuncheon Residents Association without distinction of age, sex, race, political or other opinions The only private benefit flowing from this purpose is that committee members live in the area and can avail of the events, training and activities which will take place. This private benefit is incidental and necessary because it is desirable that they do avail of facilities and gain knowledge to adequately provide the service afforded by our organisation.

What your organisation does

To organise events, activities and days out throughout the year for young people to encourage community engagement. To offer support and hold events, days out and activities for older people in the Broomhill & Drumnahuncheon area. to recruit volunteers on an ongoing basis and offer training opportunities. to save and/or develop our local play park

for the families in our area. Engage with statutory and voluntary agencies to support with services needed in our area.

Charitable purposes

The Association is established to: 2.1 To promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of the area and its immediate environs without distinction of age, sex, race, political or other opinions, by associating with statutory authorities, voluntary organisations, institutions, business and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare, health, recreation and leisure activities, with the objective of improving conditions of life for the inhabitants in a way that are exclusively charitable as we are not a profit organization. 2.2 To establish or to secure the provision of play provision and to maintain and manage or to co-operate with any local statutory authority in the maintenance and management of such a provision.
