Public benefits
The direct benefits include reducing social isolation for those most vulnerable within the area, improved health and wellbeing, enhancing the local environment. Furthermore the direct benefits from this purpose include promotion of programmes, events and services available for local people as information will be accessible through our social media
and leaflets/newsletters to our residents. The benefits can be demonstrated by the delivery and participation of the programmes and events within the community. Additionally, by providing a safe space where local residents are welcomed and listened to. The community premises was established as a hub for the community, encouraging local people to engage in the programmes we facilitate. We also provide volunteers with opportunities to engage with the community and learn new skills. The youth activities provided by Bovalley Community Association will also help to reduce anti social behaviour in the area. Additionally, the provision of youth activities offers young people a positive focus and providing opportunities to the young people to develop their skills. We always complete evaluation forms for all of the programmes we deliver and keep records of all the programmes we run. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes. The beneficiaries are residents from the Bovalley and surrounding areas. Our volunteers can participate of the training available which will enable them to organise, plan and deliver programmes within our community. The benefits would be that the volunteers will receive certificates which may help them in their own personal development. This is an incidental benefit.
