[What are the direct benefits flowing from your organisation's purposes?] Young people being educated on social issues and life skills that goes beyond the formal school curriculum. This helps create a greater awareness around dangers and potential consequences or engaging in negative, risk taking actives and behaviours. This is particular
beneficial to those users that struggle in a formal school setting and therefore become 'disengaged' members of society We encourage users to be the best that they can be and provide support and advice if and when needed to become active citizens within their communities and wider society. [How can the beenfits identified above be demonstrated?] Each user completes a pre and post programme evaluation that helps track any improved knowledge, confidence or feelings from participating on the programme. We hold sign in sheets that record the number of users the centre cater for on nightly basis which is around 70 on average. As attendance is completely voluntary this highlights that users are happy with the service and activities on offer. Users and other statutory agencies in which we would work in partnership on certain programmes and events can also provide testimonies on the impact St Malachy's and the work we do have on them and their lives. [Is there any harm arising from any of the purposes?] None [Who are the charity's beneficiaries?] Our main beneficiaries would be those aged 6-24 years of age. However, the impact on our work will go beyond this as our users then become active participating citizens within their communities and wider society No there is no private benefit gained from any of the purposes

St Malachy's Youth Centre is a safe and inclusive environment for young people aged 6-24 years of age to come and be themselves without fear of harm or judgement. We aim to build positive working relationships with all our users and help to identify informal educational programmes that will help to enhance knowledge and awareness around areas of
need that we have or have been identified by others and be the best that they can be. Through our conversations and work with users we help to instil a moral compass that helps users identify right from wrong and leads them to become positive active citizens within their communities and society as a whole.
