Public benefits

The direct benefits flowing from our purpose include giving young people the opportunity to access programmes which develop their personal, social, creative and physical skills building their self-esteem, inter-dependence, confidence and their sense of equality and respect. These benefits will be evidenced by the young people wanting to attend the

youth club sessions and by feedback from the young people, staff, volunteers and parents/carers and regular independent evaluation of our youth club activities. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes. Goal Line’s beneficiaries are young people aged 25 and under, both with and without disabilities in and around the Portadown, Lurgan and Craigavon areas. They also include the parents and siblings and the wider family circle of the young people attending. Appropriate training opportunities are offered to staff and volunteers. These are incidental but necessary in the pursuit of our purposes.

What your organisation does

These purposes are achieved by offering planned youth-based programmes to suit the needs and abilities of the young people in a safe, inclusive and secure environment. Programmes are evaluated and adjusted to strive for constant improvement. Six youth club sessions are held weekly throughout the year with summer schemes held throughout July and

August. Volunteering opportunities are offered leading to accredited training.
