[What are the direct benefits flowing from your organisation's purposes?] Cathedral Eye Research Foundation is set up for charitable purposes only, specifically for the advancement of eye health, the advancement of education, the relief for those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability or other disadvantage, and the advancement of
community development. We aim to set up clinics in developing parts of Africa and Asia through income from fundraising activities and donations from our main partner company is Cathedral Eye Clinic Limited. Cathedral Eye Clinic Limited will also provide support in the form of staff, equipment, and administrative resources. In addition to the setup of clinics we will provide support to other established charities who carry out similar charitable activities and sponsor research activities. With the support from Cathedral Eye Clinic, we can ensure all donations are used to achieve our charitable goals. [How can the benefits identified above be demonstrated?] Cathedral Eye Research Foundation will complete on the ground assessment of the work completed and benefits achieved by charities we support. In addition, the foundation will provide on the ground support for the establishment of infrastructure for selected charities and also raising of funds for equipment and resources to help established charities on the ground. There is no harm arising from any of the organisations' purposes. The beneficiaries include partner charities Khmer Sight Foundation Research & Development Centre and Christian Blind Mission. The foundation will also work directly with individuals and communities in the developing world, setting up clinics and training programs. There is no private benefit flowing from any of the organisations' purposes.

Professor Moore as Director/ Trustee is the main fundraiser and is responsible for all activities and setting up clinics. Professor Moore is a highly respected Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon and Clinical Director of Cathedral Eye Clinic Limited, specialising in ocular surface reconstruction, laser refractive surgery, cataract and other intra-ocular
eye surgery and has personally completed approximately 25,000 treatments. He has also developed an online surgical training video website designed to be an online resource for researchers, students and industrialists interested in the fields of cataract surgery. The aim of this website is to create a high level of teaching and training in cataract surgery freely with particular emphasis on high level teaching to anyone in 3rd world countries. Professor Moore is also heavily and actively involved in working with charities such as Khmer Sight Foundation in Cambodia and the Christian Blind Mission in Zimbabwe. Cathedral Eye Clinic Limited is the main partner company who provide support and resources such as staff, equipment and premises in which Cathedral Eye Research Foundation operate. Cathedral Eye Research Foundation will seek involvement from other Consultants, Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, and non-clinical associates and staff of Cathedral Eye Clinic Ltd.
