Most purposes do not lead to any harm. The purpose related to promotion of physical activity may accidentally lead to harm during physical and sports activities organized for beneficiaries, but is mitigated by carrying out adequate risk assessments and a potential harm does not outweigh the benefits. The direct beneficiaries of the activities of the Association are Polish women living in Northern Ireland, especially in Belfast and the surrounding areas, as well as people who are in close relationships with them. In addition, the entire local community of Northern Ireland benefits from the cross-cultural activities. The private benefit flowing from this purpose is various trainings provided to the Association’s trustees and volunteers which allow them to gain skills and knowledge transferrable to other settings, as well as fees paid to project facilitators, experts and trainers. These follow the provisions stipulated in our governing document and are incidental and necessary to further the charitable purposes safely and effectively.
