Public benefits
Direct benefits are that children within Northern Ireland are supported and have a charity to go to that can direct, help, mentor and assist with all factors of the scoliosis journey. They can be demonstrated by the number of children on our books, we have 100 families within Northern Ireland that we support. We visit each child twice a year with
a gift so they know they are recognised, we pay for coaching and training for any child that needs assistance for their mental health. The benefits are retained with the coach and feedback is received from coach, child and family member. It is also identified by the number of children that grow on our database, we are the only Central Network for scoliosis within Northern Ireland There is no harm. The main beneficiaries is children within Northern Ireland 17 years of age and under who are living with scoliosis.
