What your organisation does

Choir members, who are drawn from post-primary schools across the social and religious divides of North Belfast, are brought together to rehearse and perform in each of the participating schools and also in perceived neutral spaces. Under the leadership of a skilled and experienced choral director, the young people enhance their vocal and

performance skills, whilst experiencing a repertoire which promotes understanding and appreciation of the diverse range of musical and cultural traditions in the wider community. Due to the creation of strong links across the island of Ireland, Great Britain, a number of European countries and within the USA, choir members have opportunities to travel and perform at a range of prestigious events and venues and to participate in educational opportunities which would otherwise be inaccessible to them.
