... [more] [less]What your organisation does
The organisation is working towards the up-skilling and empowerment of Loyalist communities through workshops, training and educational programmes including: single-identity training; PUL & CNR culture; history; power analysis; capacity building; mediation; peace building; and intergenerational work. The organisation provides a range of activities
within the community to challenge paramilitary control, offer mediation and negotiation when necessary, explore critical aspects of culture and identity and build greater community integration and inclusivity. Resolution NW has a track record of making sensitive community interventions to challenge paramilitary control and using mediation techniques to resolve critical issues. The organisation also creates volunteering and cross community opportunities and increases opportunities for people to engage more positively with their own community structures.
