[What are the direct benefits flowing from your organisation's purposes?] Prevention or relief of poverty- The Joy Foundation provides funds to support food banks and food programmes to feed those who are on the Social security list in Poland. Therefore, relieving hunger and need.It also sends out aid (clothing items, mobility aids, hygiene items
and toys) to Poland to distribute among the most needy. This work is done alongside churches in Poland who have regular contact with people in need. Therefore providing clothes to meet their physical needs. The advancement of religion- The Joy Foundation runs camps and weekends alongside churches in Poland to instruct children, young people and adults on the Christian Faith but also how to become upstanding members of society. [How can the benefits identified above be demonstrated?] The needs of the poor in Poland are met with food and clothes. Many families have received items to make their living standards better. Also in terms of members of society- young people learn how to be responsible in society and are encouraged to act in a responsible way and give back to the local community they are part of. The Joy Foundation raise funds in Northern Ireland which go directly to organising camps and weekends for children and young people to attend where they do many activities but also learn about the Christian faith. Also aid [clothing, toys, hygiene products] are collected in Northern Ireland and send to Poland to distribute to the local people in
need in connection with local churches. Programmes are ran with local churches to promote well-being of young people and also to provide local communities with places to attend such as soup lunches.
