The practical support to be given to the ladies in the group will be in the form of food and essential items. Children will benefit from substantial healthy meals. Mental health will be addressed at our Ladies Nights. It is hoped that as the group progresses, women can be honest and open about issues concerning them. In turn, they can access the appropriate help that they require, through Bridge N.I. families will see the benefits of a stable mother. Employers will see the benefits of a productive employee. Loneliness will be addressed also, helping to ease pressures on families. Opportunities within the IT skills workshops will enable women to get jobs, earning money for their families Physical health will be addressed Home improvements will be carried out by volunteers, assisting their community and helping those in need. In all the above, a community will be supported and the community spirit will be maintained. As of now there are no private benefits flowing from the organisation. So therefore no harm arising from any of the purposes. We will be advising and directing users to professional services, if required. However we understand if this should change, we would be required to declare it. Bridge N.I has been founded with the purpose to help women of all ages, who find themselves in need of practical and/or emotional support. The situations where a woman may find Bridge N.I useful might include women experiencing loneliness or seeking advice for job applications. Other examples include women fleeing domestic violence or struggling with living in poverty. We understand that often children will be involved, and we will support them also. We intend to start off in East Belfast and eventually branch out to cover the Northern Ireland region. We do not anticipate any private benefit from any of our plans and purposes.

What your organisation does

We will carry out our purpose with a programme aimed at women of all ages to engage in. Women will be able to take part in fun activities in order to promote both mental and physical wellbeing. Ladies' Night will include: Salsa Dancing/Yoga/Boxercise/Keep Fit/Craft Activities/Cookery made simple/Beauty Pamper night/Quiz night/Zumba/Yoga with a

Twist. Instructors will be enrolled to take the class. Women will be encouraged to open up about problems/issues they are struggling with and reassured that practical and emotionally help is available to them through Bridge NI. If professional help is required then the team will organise this from local resources and support women through their journey. Women are sometimes overwhelmed with the responsibilities of being a mother and a wife, so sharing experiences and giving each other advice, may be helpful in preventing feelings of inadequacy and failure in difficult situations. Bridge NI wants to bring together women within the community, to build friendships, to build self-esteem, to provide women with the tools to enjoy good mental/physical health which in turn will reflect on their own families.
