There will be an improvement in the environment of the Ederney Village and area in terms of appearance, facilities and leading on from this general well-being and an improved sense of community and connection to the local community and area. The benefits can be demonstrated through the reclamation of and improvement in derelict and abandoned

areas within the village and environs, the development of public and communal spaces, linkages from the village and area to the wider environs and an enhanced sense of ownership by the community of public spaces and pride in the same. There will be no harm arising. The beneficiaries are the residents of Ederney village, parish and area, the wider North Fermanagh area and those traversing through the village and area as well as visitors to the same. N/A

publish the useful results thereof; and to organise or assist in organising meetings, lectures, classes and exhibitions and publish or assist in publishing reports, periodicals, recordings, books, or other documents or information within the area of benefit.

Charitable purposes

The objectives of Ederney Village in Bloom are: 2.1. Ederney Village in Bloom is established to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Ederney district of County Fermanagh and its environs (hereinafter described as “the area of benefit”) without distinction of age, sex, race, political opinion by associating with other voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort through: 2.1.1. The promotion of cross-community enterprise, development and community based environmental initiatives. 2.1.2. The promotion education, training and environmental awareness within the area of benefit. 2.1.3. To relieve poverty. 2.1.4. The promote the mental, moral and physical development of the people of the area of benefit through the improvement of existing environmental facilities and the provision of additional facilities in the interests of the social, economic and community welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving their conditions of life.
