Public benefits
The public can directly access services related to the promotion of mental health and wellbeing in their local areas of Crumlin and Antrim in a space that is both neutral, easily accessible and open to all. To relieve suffering and promote the preservation and protection of mental health of the service users which then enhances their relationships
with families, colleagues and the wider community. By relieving poverty and financial hardship and enabling those with low incomes to access services which may not be accessible to them otherwise. With a huge increase in people suffering from poor mental health, this allows us to provide professional training and education to help work towards reducing waiting times for therapeutic services in an accessible, cost effective, timely manner for the community as a whole. These benefits are demonstrated through feedback from beneficiaries using our services in the form of surveys and questionnaires carried out both during and at the end of service by our counsellors and facilitators. no There will be direct benefits to the individual service users but will have a ripple effect on their families, colleagues and the wider community. no
