Public benefits

The direct benefits flowing from this is an improved, healthier group of people both young and older, benefits for our members is that they are gaining a healthier lifestyle together with team building across all the different age groups. The charity provides opportunities for inhabitants to take part in healthy recreation; we will improve levels

of general health and fitness for children and young people. This includes both physical health in terms of overall fitness, and also mental and emotional wellbeing through the participation in team games, social interaction and communication with other users. These benefits are demonstrated through feedback from participants and beneficiaries and by the level of uptake of our activities. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes The charity’s beneficiaries are children, young adults, adults, members and volunteers who live in and around the Fivemiletown and Clogher Valley catchment area who want to participate in healthy recreation through playing association football. There is no private benefit flowing from any of these purposes

What your organisation does

The Committee of our charity are all volunteers who work closely with qualified volunteer coaches and run youth teams in the age groups 5-19 years old, they start playing games from the age of 10 and take part in matches on a weekly basis with additional training sessions once a week. We ensure there is a safe and neutral environment for players

and coaches to train and play football.

Charitable purposes

The aims and objectives of the club will be: (a) To provide a safe environment for members to participate in soccer. (b) To develop soccer for all communities within the area by: (i) encouraging participation in this activity (ii) providing members with suitable competition (iii) assisting members to improve their personal soccer standards (iv) organizing soccer competition locally (v) providing equal opportunities for successful participation by all sectors of the community (c) To support or subscribe to such charities and other charitable purposes as shall be recommended by the Annual General Meeting.
