Public benefits

The direct benefits which flow from the Charity’s purposes – missionaries and evangelists associated with the assemblies of Christians have left home in Northern Ireland and in many cases have given all their possessions and goods to the Lord, and have gone to foreign lands, to promote the Christian religion. In many cases this involved setting up

hospitals, nursing homes, orphanages and schools in these foreign lands. These missionaries and evangelists directly benefit from the accommodation we provide for them when they return to Northern Ireland. In providing comfortable accommodation for these missionaries when they need a break from their work in foreign lands they will receive rest and recuperation. Benefit also flows to those in these foreign lands first of all by them hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ setting a moral framework for living, and also by the medical treatment, education, accommodation, elderly care, relief of the poor by clothing and food provided by these missionaries. The direct benefits are demonstrated by the missionaries receiving rest, in some cases, recuperation from recent illness, the benefit of seeing family and renewal of friendships with local church members. Missionary work in some lands can result in missionaries being deprived of company as often they work alone in isolated parts of the world. In some cases they are deprived of nutrition and in all cases they work tirelessly to spread the work of God and help the people of that land. They benefit greatly from using our accommodation and this can only be demonstrated by seeing them rejuvenated and re-inspired. The benefits can be demonstrated by the usage of the properties and the appreciation by the occupants. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes. The charity's beneficiaries are missionaries and evangelists There is no private benefit from any of the purposes.
