Public benefits
The direct benefits flowing from the "prevention or relief of poverty' would include the provision of work experiences not otherwise available, especially to the long-term unemployed, that would provide a stepping stone back into employability and the opportunity to break free of government benefit dependency. The direct benefits flowing from the
advancement of religion include the provision of faith based mentoring groups leading to the encouragement of moral improvement in society. The direct benefits flowing from the advancement of education are increased knowledge, increased employability and increased confidence of the beneficiaries. These benefits can be demonstrated through feedback from beneficiaries and their families, the numbers of people attending courses and completing the employability support programmes and the numbers of beneficiaries entering employment. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes. The charity's beneficiaries are the general public and in particular young people with addiction/ prison backgrounds.
