Public benefits

The direct benefits which flow from purposes are that the Muslims will be able to fulfill their daily congregational prayer and celebratory requirements, be able to direct Muslims in the area to source Halal food which is an essential dietary requirement for Muslims, and that the families will be given the opportunity to get to know each other and

other families living in the area. This is beneficial to their health and wellbeing and helps create feeling of belonging. Furthermore, the benefits include encouraging Muslims to engage with the wider community such as local charitable bodies, promote social cohesion and contribute to the general well-being of the wider community for the benefit of all in this multi faith community to create a warmer living environment. The benefits of purpose 1 will be evidenced through the documentation and annual reporting of all activities. The benefits of purpose 2 will be evidenced through the documentation and annual reporting of all activities. There is no harm arising from the purposes. The beneficiaries of purpose 1 are the already established and newly arrived Muslim families in area of Dungannon and surrounding areas. The beneficiaries of purpose 2 are the local Muslims community and the general wider community. There is no private benefit arising from the purposes.

What your organisation does

Purpose 1 and 2 will be carried out by providing a place for the community to engage in congregational prayers and arranging religious educational, social and spiritual activities such as educational circles, Eid celebrations and family events. Purpose 3 will be carried out by organising events with local charity groups and bodies and similar

organisations that have the same purposes. This will be done collaborative events concerning the general welfare of the local community.

Charitable purposes

Charity Purposes - To advance religion for the public benefit by encouraging and fostering the moral improvement of the Muslim community living in Dungannon and surrounding areas through Islamic educational Classes, Eid Celebrations and social programmes. - To advance religion for the public benefit by raising awareness and understanding of the Islamic religious beliefs and practices among both the Muslim community and the wider community living in Dungannon and surrounding areas. - To advance community development for the public benefit by promoting social inclusion of newly migrated Muslim families relocated to Dungannon and surrounding areas.
